Test Principle
This test is based on lateral flow immunochromatographic assay technology. When a sample is applied to the test device, Toxoplasma gondii antigens (if present) bind to specific antibodies on the membrane of the test strip. The antigen–antibody complex moves along the membrane and forms a visible colored line in the test region. The appearance of the control line confirms the validity of the test.

Advantages
Rapid Detection: Provides results in 10–15 minutes, enabling fast diagnostic decisions.
High Sensitivity & Specificity: Specifically designed for the detection of Toxoplasma gondii antigens.
Non-Invasive: Requires only a small sample, typically from blood, serum, or plasma.
Ideal for Routine Screening: Perfect for use in veterinary clinics, shelters, and diagnostic labs.
Portable & Easy to Use: No specialized equipment required-perfect for on-site testing

Result Interpretation
- Positive Result:
Two distinct colored lines will appear - one in the Test (T) area and another in the Control (C) area, confirming the presence of Toxoplasma gondii antigens in the sample.
- Negative Result:
Only a single colored line will appear in the Control (C) area, indicating that no Toxoplasma gondii antigens were detected.
- Invalid Result:
If no colored line appears in the Control (C) region, the test is invalid, and a new test should be conducted to obtain accurate results.
