Test Principle
The CCV/CPV/GIA Ag Test Kit is based on colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay technology for the qualitative detection of Canine Coronavirus (CCV), Canine Parvovirus (CPV), and Giardia (GIA) antigens in canine feces or vomit samples. When the sample is added to the test device, any target antigens present will bind to colloidal gold-labeled antibodies to form antigen–antibody complexes. These complexes migrate along the membrane by capillary action and are captured by specific immobilized antibodies at their respective test regions. The interaction produces visible colored lines indicating positive results for CCV, CPV, and/or GIA. A separate control line will always appear to confirm that the test is functioning properly and the result is valid.
